How Can Hashem Ever Really Forgive You?
After numerous individuals pointed out these paragraphs in the sicha below as strong indications that G-d isn’t at all affected by our mitzvos, I decided to finally sit down with Rabbi Friedman to learn them straight from the sefer.
The sicha can be found in Chelek Zayin page 23 and if you don’t have clear definitions of the terms The Rebbe is explaining you can really be thrown off and have a completely wrong impression. Be prepared to listen closely because this video highlight holds the key to understanding the Chabad Chassidus Revolution.
The clip is 17 1/2 minutes long.

Where Some Very Learned People Get Tripped Up…
One of the most often misquoted lines to me when presenting the idea that G-d Needs Your MItzvos is: There is no way, it’s impossible to affect Atzmus!!! At first glance that seems to be a reasonable objection, after all G-d is infinite and we are finite.
But just listen how Rabbi Friedman so clearly articulates how that is not true in this video highlight. And make sure to catch the line towards the end at 24:05- “On the contrary, if you deny him the ability to be finite then he is not really infinite.”
